Measuring your ring finger at home
The easiest method to measure the size of your finger is by printing out our paper ring measurer below:

1. Print the document at 100% size. Measure the line below to make sure the scale is accurate.
2. When you have ensured the scaling is accurate, cut out the ring measurer, below, with a pair of scissors or a cutting knife.
3. Make a slit in the ring measurer where indicated.
4. Carefully wrap the ring measurer around your finger, with the end of the band poking through the slit and number scale uppermost.
5. The ring measurer should fit comfortably around your finger, adjust it gently if need be. Make sure you can remove the ring measurer over your knuckle. You may need to adjust your size to do this.
6. The number indicated by the “ring size” in the slit is the ring size needed for your finger. Please take a photo of your finger with the ring measurer in position and send it to us to help with your ring sizing.
7. Please take care not to pull too tightly as this will give an inaccurate size.
If you would prefer to use a piece of string or ribbon, loop a length around the base of your finger snugly, checking it still slides across your knuckle, and mark the string with a pen where the ends come together. Measure the length of string against a ruler in millimetres, taking a photograph to remove any doubt, and we will be able to deduce your ring size from this.
Take extra care, whether you use our printed ring measurer or a piece of string, by measuring your finger at different times of day and on multiple days, as your finger size will vary slightly in different temperatures.
